About Swedish Register-Based Research Summit

The Swedish Network for Register-Based Research (SWE-REG) arranged the Swedish Register-Based Research Summit, an international interdisciplinary conference for register-based research. The conference took place in Stockholm on November 9, 2022, in connection to and in collaboration with Registerforskning 2022 organized by the Swedish Research Council (VR) on November 8 at the same venues. The conference was devoted to the rich diversity of research using register data in Sweden, other Nordic countries, and elsewhere.

An overarching aim of the conference was to stimulate knowledge transfer and cross-fertilization across different disciplines working with register data. Registers are important data sources for medical and social science research, including varying disciplines such as public health, epidemiology, statistics, demography, sociology, economics and clinical medicine.
